Pok Fu Lam Tree Walk is the first Hong Kong tree walk featuring native plant species. This route winds along Lugard Road by the Peak Galleria. While admiring the beauty of nature, you also take in superb vistas of Victoria Harbour and the urban districts on both sides. The entrance of Pok Fu Lam Tree Walk shares the same starting point of Stage 1 of Hong Kong Trail. Despite its vicinity to the hot tourist spot, the Tree Walk offers escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing you to feel the peaceful and pleasant ambience of nature. With support of good ecological environment, you will find several interesting plants such as Lance-leaved Sterculia with orange-red star-like fruits, and Reevesia with fruits looking like starfruit along the trail. At the end of the Tree Walk, you can continue your journey from Lugard Road to Harlech Road for a visit to Lung Fu Shan Country Park where military relics such as Pinewood Battery and remains of old forts are preserved.
