Shing Mun Leisure Deck is located on the hillside to the east of Shing Mun Reservoir. In the mountain greenery surrounding the reservoir, visitors can enjoy here a panoramic urban view of Kwai Chung, Tsing Yi, Tsuen Wan to as far as Lantau, which creates a very poetic environment of half natural scenery and half cityscape. A hexagonal pavilion on Leisure Deck forms an interesting contrast with the rolling mountains. With the trees along the coast opposite the pavilion reflected on the azure reservoir, coupled with an endless skyline and the sun shining through the clouds, one cannot help but praise the vastness of nature. When visitors leave, they can walk down the original trail cut out by hand and slowly immerse and relax themselves infinitely in the beautiful scenery of the reservoir.
