The countryside is the best place to get close to the boundless azure sky.  Through the joys of kite flying, you can get a deeper experience.  If you are looking for the best kite-flying area for yourself and your children, look no further – the one in Tai Au Mun, Clearwater Bay, offers the widest and finest views.  With an open stretch of verdant slope, as well as a barbecue area and a refreshment kiosk, it is the perfect spot to unwind as you can watch your children frolicking around and kites soaring up into the sky.  You can also enjoy a sweeping view of the southeastern waters of Hong Kong, including the Ninepin Group, Steep Island, Waglan Island, Tung Lung Chau and Beaufort Island. Situated at the easternmost point of Hong Kong and thus unaffected by light pollution, the kite-flying locale has also given pleasure to those who enjoy stargazing and watching moonlight.  It is surely one of the best lovely destinations for families to discover the charm of the countryside.
