Wong Nai Chung Tree Walk runs between the sections of Sir Cecil’s Ride (Wong Nai Chung Gap Road) and Mount Butler, the Tree Walk is 2.2km long, flat and smooth, and it takes about one hour to complete. There are 20 interpretation plates along the Tree Walk with interesting information about trees including Turn-in-the-wind, which shows its grayish white leaf base when blown by wind, Ear-leaved Acacia, the fruit of which looks like ears, and Scolopia, whose trunk is covered with thorns. All these plants grow on roadside and can be appreciated at close range.

Take public transport to "Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park" bus stop. Walk uphill along Tai Tam Reservoir Road till the staircases to Park Place. Then walk down the staircases and you will see the starting point of Wong Nai Chung Tree Walk.
