The construction works of Po Pin Chau Viewing Platform and the associated hiking facilities near East Dam, High Island Reservoir, in Sai Kung East Country Park will commence on 6 May 2024. The project is targeted to complete by the end of this year. Certain areas along the path leading to the viewing point of Po Pin Chau will be closed in phase until completion of the project. Please do not enter the closed areas for safety concern. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Due to the enhancement works for Lung Fu Shan Dry Toilets, Lung Fu Shan Dry Toilet No.1 has been temporarily closed, and the anticipated completion date is 15 June 2024.  Please use the Lung Fu Shan Dry Toilet No. 2 or No. 3 nearby if necessary.  We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

The Lin Ma Hang Mine Cave at Lin Ma Hang Country Trail is being revitalized. The project is targeted to complete by the end of 2024. 2013-03-15 Lantau

Farmland rehabilitation within private lots in Yi O Kau Tsuen and Yi O San Tsuen is in progress, the land owners do not allow unauthorized access to those villages. The affected sections of Lantau Trail Section 7 passing through those villages will be diverted. Visitors who wish to come and go to Fan Lau, Kau Ling Chung or Tai O are advised to choose alternative routes as shown on the maps at scene.
